I checked your blog and I saw my name on the list!! I’m just so happy!
I cannot possibly put my thanks into words!

You gave me a big opportunity. I really apreciate it.

The finalist girls are very smart and beautiful. I admit they have something.I’m so glad that I can still be with my best friends in this competition! However everyone is rivals….but my big rival is myself. I will get the better of it when my weakness comes out.

Anyway I have so many things to fix from now on! I’ll work on walking and getting in shape!

Milly started working with me in 1998, as the MUJ Art Director. Everything that you see during the final slection each year she creates it. She is amazing, so talented. This year will be the 10th Anniversary of Miss Universe Japan also expect something unique. The theme this year is “Casino Royale”

Milly is coming soon to start working with the finalists and to rehearse the choreography for March 15th, the final selection.

Check her site, Milly is French and she leaves in London. She produces more of the tip events with gorgeous dancers.

Finalists waiting to have their hair and make-up done before shooting with Josh yesterday.

Yesterday we shot at JIL Studio with photographer Josh, all day, with 5 finalists, Kurara and Chie Konishiki.

The finalists were Yu Sato, Reiko Iida, Sakura, Maiko and Rei.

Today 5 finalists will be having a walking class with Jade, our official walking teacher. They are Ako, Rio, Noriko, Sakura and Akiko. All of them are fluent in English. At Miss Universe nobody will speak Japanese, also most of our trainers only speak in English during the classes to prepare the finalists for Miss Universe.

Also the next make-up class with Aki, Kurara’s make-up artist, will be given in priority to the girls who will be tanned. White skin is not attractive outside of Japan….. and neither in Japan for girls with a fashion sense.
