I spent countdown and new year with my host family at the little island in Peru. I learned Spanish there! My pictures during my posing lesson on the terrace at the office. The girls are so stunning and fierce this year so far the strongest year. 28 stunners!I am so excited… each day now I spend 8 hours training them and I enjoy each bit of it. I am going to write again each day, now that I can fill you in what is hapenning during the training.

Rie moved from Singapore today and had her first class with me. She was prepared by Yoshimi, last year finalist in Singapore, and Yoshimi did a great job. Thank you sweetie! Rie is graduating law school soon.

Misa came from Kyoto as well for the day and will be back tomorrow evening.. so much traveling, poor thing! She works as a make-up artist in Kyoto.

Mizuki was living in Firenze, Italy for the past 2 months and just arrived as well. She speaks 3 languages, Japanese, English and Italian! She reminds me of Akiko Chubachi finalist of 2007 when Riyo won.

Ai, just moved back from Canada where she studied, to compete.

Chiharu lived for years in Texas and just came back as well for this competition. She is a certified accountant.

Megumi worked as a model in Paris and belongs to an agency over there. She came back for the competition. She speaks 3 languages French, Japanese and English fluently. Another Kurara…

Marie Igarashi did not pass the auditions last round last year and so she decided to live in New York for a year to learn English and to come back and compete. She is in this year! Marie is freind with Steven, Hiroko’s partner last year. I had no idea. Steven told me afterward as he was afraid that it could hurt Marie in some ways….

Keito is the only girl that I scouted this year. I was in Tokyo Midtown to look a Riyo huge billboards for Rolex when I saw her walking with another girl and I asked her if she would be interested to compete. My assistant lost her number, and a few months later I asked for her, and found again Keito’s number in my mobile, also my assistant called her, and her agency said yes definitely she can do it. Yatta!

Ayaka lives in Osaka, she just arrived in Tokyo after quitting her job. Unfortunately, she is weak right now compared to the other girls, also I will work with her privately early tomorrow morning. Gambatte Ayaka!

今日オフィスのテラスで行ったポージングレッスンの時の写真よ。今年のファイナリストはとても魅力的で強いから、今年は最強の年だと、今のところ言えるでしょうね。28人の輝ける女の子達と毎日8時間のトレーニングをこなしていて、とてもワクワクしているわ。これから毎日彼女達の様子についてブログにアップして、伝えていくわね。

理恵は今日、シンガポールから引っ越してきたので、今日が第一回目のレッスンだったの。シンガポールには去年のファイナリストだった良美が住んでいるから、理恵のトレーニングを私の代わりにしてもらったのよ。良美、よくやったわ！ありがとう。理恵はもうすぐ法科大学を卒業するんですって。

美沙も今日のために京都からトレーニングに参加して、明日の夜には京都に戻るの。移動が多くて可哀想ね！彼女は京都でメイクアップアーティストをしているの。

みずきもこの2ヶ月間イタリアのフィレンツェに住んでいて、 日本に戻ってきたばかりよ。なんと彼女は日本語、英語、イタリア語の3ヶ国語を話せるんですって！みずきを見ていると、理世と同じ代の2007年ファイナリスト中鉢明子を思い出すわ。

愛もこの大会のために留学先のカナダから帰国したばかり。

千晴もこの大会のために長年住んでいるアメリカのテキサス州から帰国したばかり。彼女は現地で認許会計士をしているの。

めぐみはパリでモデルとして活動していて、向こうでモデルエージェーンシーに所属しているの。 彼女も同じくこの大会のために帰国しているんだけれど、日本語、英語、フランス語を流暢に話せる、知花くららのような子よ。

麻里恵は去年のオーディションでセミファイナリストに残れなかったんだけれど、その悔しさをばねにＮＹに語学留学に1年間行って、この大会に合わせて帰国したの。そして今年ファイナリストになっているのよ！麻里恵は美馬寛子のパートナーだったスティーブンの友達なんだけれど、全く知らなかったわ。後でスティーブンが教えてくれたんだけど、麻里恵のためにある意味そのことは私に黙っておこうと彼は口をつぐんでいたんですって。

恵都は今年私が唯一スカウトした子なの。以前東京ミッドタウンのロレックスキャンペーン期間中に、理世の大きな広告を見に行ったことがあったんだけれど、その時に恵都は友達と歩いていたのね。そしてオーディションに興味はないかスカウトしたのよ。それから私のアシスタントが恵都の携帯番号をなくして、数ヶ月後にようやく見つけてもう一度スカウトの電話をしたの。そして所属のモデルエージェンシーがＯＫを出してくれて今に至るのよ。やったー！

彩華は大阪に住んでいるけれど、仕事を辞めて上京してきたの。残念ながら、彼女は他の子に比べて弱いわ。だから明日の朝早くから彩華に個人レッスンをするのよ。頑張って、彩華！

The press conference introducing the 28 finalists t the Japanese and foreign media, will be held at the Audi Forum on Wednesday 10th of December in Tokyo next week. A fashion show with the 28 finalists dressed in Roberto Cavalli Fall Winter collection (Roberto Cavalli, Just Cavalli & Class Cavalli). Also introducing the latest accessor line which is absolutly stunning. From now, I will be again quite active and updating my blog everyday with news and photos. Stay tune! A message sent to Riyo’s assistant… Dear Takeda san, Thank you and Ms. Mori for attending the Special Olympics Charity event last night.  Certainly, Ms Mori was the center of attention and helped to make the event very exciting and colorful.  You will be receiving official photographs from the Special Olympics’ office, but here are some that I took. The prize from Ms. Ligron to do a half day styling / training was auctioned by Mrs. Hosokawa’s niece, the great grand daughter of ex-Prime minister of Japan.  She and her friend are the lucky winners. Thank you very much and please relay our sincere appreciation to Ms. Ligron and Ms. Mori for the wonderful contribution.
