YES! this is Luca walking in my super skinny & high Gucci shoes last night before diner. And as you can see he could be on the Miss universe stage. He is the best at managing these heels.

He was born in the middle of a fashion show!! almost actually and grew up with models walking around, in this kind of shoes, at our home, every day.

He can actually run with them. My husband took this picture when he hard me screaming at him: -”You gonna break my shoes! get them off now!” and running after him.

My boys are something… such big personality and opened minded. Both of them think that it is no big deal for a boy to walk into their mom shoes, even pass 10 years old. They are both quite good at it.

I am a big fan of Charlize, she is a woman with essence, she is real and brave.

Some facts about Charlize….

When she was 15 her father attacked her mother, and her mother shot him in self-defense. He died, but her mother was not charged in the incident.

She owns a Harley davidson and drives it with high heels, just like me.

She grew up in a farm in South Africa and became a model at age 14. She was discovered in Hollywood, yelling at a bank staff at the counter.

Do you know how do dolphins sleep?
Dolphins have to be conscious to breath. This means that they cannot go into a full deep sleep, because then they would suffocate. Dolphins have “solved” that by letting one half of their brain sleep at a time. This has been determined by doing EEG studies on dolphins. Dolphins sleep about 8 hours day in this fashion.

I love Thanksgiving diners beacuse it is all about the food!

And lots of it, delicious one. We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Europe because it is an American tradition, but I got used to it and enjoying it.

In the kitchen with Andrea starting the barbecue.

Again, her home is absolutely spectacular with lots of natural wood from floor to roof to furniture, to doors. With large open-spaces, Indonesian stones in the pool area and the entrance of the property. The black lava from the island main volcano, is surrounding the house and acts as a giant frame.

The home main feel is a fusion between Hawaii and Japan. Andrea refused to have the roofs of her entire home being colored into a dark wood color tone, but she rater chose to leave it be into its initial tone. The bedrooms smell like natural wood and for an instant you wonder if you are in Kyoto or Hawaii…. I will be definitely staying in one of them next time! and enjoying the outdoor shower, bali-style, outside one of the guest-bedrooms. Yeah!… oops!

okay kids love me…. because i am fabulous. But hey…. I love kids because they are even more fabulous!

So much fun with kids. They never pretend, they always tell the truth and I truly like that.

I always think that children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression. Also, I always try my best to leave a good impression on them… an inspiration, because children can either be influenced or inspired, I dislike influence but I cherish inspiration….

yes I know, I am a crazy French Mother to let my sons do that kind of thing in a pool…. Do NOT try that at home if you are a child! Actually we might never be invited to the McTamaney’s home after that!

It was such a nice day chatting with my friends, I did not have the chance to see Andrea and Bobby since the day of the Japan earthquake in March when we were so scared and trying to figure out what to do next in order to be safe.

I see Asami each month when i am in Japan, she is like a daughter to me and a dear friend. She became such a sophisticated young woman… and I love her sense of style. Sugoii

Below, we are saying goodbye before going to catch the last evening flight to Honolulu. I am trying Andrea’s trendy bicycle… in my Maria H. dressy-beach-dress. It is interesting to drive as they are no brakes, to stop the bicycle you need to reverse the pedals. Hum… good luck! I survive the trick.

Another end of the day in paradise.

Hello everyone,,,,, I have not written anything for so long… I had dear friends in town, movers back and forth as we moved home, work busy traveling and filming televsion shows in different countries, and of course very children occupied while my husband was traveling in Brazil for the FIFA conference…. arrrrrrrrrr!

HAWAII

I arrived in Honolulu a few days ago to spend Thanksgiving holidays with my husband extended family (27 people total!).

We are staying at the Kahala Hotel, with my 3 sons, Ben, Noa and Luca. Such a treat to spend all day together with my 3 boys playing on the beach, talking, swimming and of course with my loving husband.

Tomorrow we are flying early to Kona, the Big Island for a barbecue at Andrea and Bobby McTamaney together with Asami and Ben Ferguson. Also playing golf and swimming in the ocean.

The Patriarch Joel Berger (my husband’s Brother) together with my nieces Eliana, Kiara and my son Luca while opening presents. We celebrate early Hannukah and Thanksgiving.

Joel has been getting all of us reunited each year and we fly from different parts of the world to be together. It is a family tradition, it is important for the children to be together for a week each year. It creates a family foundation for the future.
