WHERE I AM STAYING IN MARRAKESH…

My bed!!!
in the beautiful Riad where we are staying. (Right now I am actually seated on the bed writing this post).
Riad Granvilier is a guest house of the 18th century located at 2 steps from the famous Jeema-El-Fna market place. Literally 3 mn walk in very cute, safe and clean streets.
And you are in the middle of everything: the heart of the souks, the museums, the city’s historic sites, such as the Koranic school Ben Youssef, the Great Mosque Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Museum of Marrakesh and the Tombs Saadi.

I found this RIAD on internet because of all the EXCELLENT comments written by previous guests, and we are also going to write amazing comments because the place and the staff are incredible. Truly an excellent service, a perfect location and some delicious food.
Hissam the Manager is beyond helpful, he makes you feel at home.
Tonight, returning from the souks, we met the owner in this comfy red pillows-corner, and she explained to me how she created this oasis in the middle of Marrakesh after coming here from the Alsace in France where she leaves. She is a stunning Brazilian beauty and we started chatting.
She told me that after founding this Riad 6 years ago, it took her 4 full years to renovate it. It opens its doors last year and is now an oasis for many returning guests. For sure we will be back, and recommending it to our friends.
The price for our suite is 100 Euros per night including breakfast and wifi. Very reasonable.

Ines!!! I miss you very much.
I’m sorry for not visiting and posting comments more often. You know how being a relationship can take a good chunk of your time. My beau can be a challenge sometimes…hehehe.
Anyway, I love your posts as always…such a beautiful place you’re staying. 100 Euros or about 124 US dollars per night is not bad. Yet, I bet that’s not the rate of the room you’re staying in, right Ines? Lol
Thanks for sharing your life with us fans.
